The 243, 244, and 244OS tools are being retired from production

and superseded by the 244X and 244OSX models. Any existing

tools will continue to be supported until January 1, 2017. It is

strongly suggested that spare parts for existing 243, 244, and

244OS tools be ordered and kept on hand.

The new generation of these lightweight, compact tools, 244X

and 244OSX, offer fi eld-serviceable stainless steel sleeves in both

the head and handle, better component wear life, and reduced

maintenance downtime. Additionally, with an upgraded internal

relief valve, debris-preventing throttle arm guard, and capability of 9/16 inch stroke, the new 244X and 244OSX will significantly outperform their predecessors.
